Around 11,200 farmers from Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Great Britain, Luxembourg, Sweden and the Netherlands belong to the European Dairy Cooperative Arla Foods. It is the world’s largest producer of dairy products in organic quality. Its sales territory extends to more than 120 countries. In Germany, the company is mainly through its products Arla Buko®, Arla® Skyr and Kaergarden®.

At the Swedish-Danish Dairy Cooperative Arla Foods, Lobster_data has become indispensable. As an integral part of the infrastructure, the data management software is used to exchange invoices, purchase orders and much more between various IT systems and partners. Among others, METRO, REWE, EDEKA, Emperor’s, Lidl, MUH, Elopak and Nordfrost are connected via Lobster_data in various ways. The formats used include EDIFACT, XML, IDOC (SAP), PDF and various house formats. And because it works so well, Arla Foods is constantly expanding both connected partners and the scope of data to be reviewed and transmitted.
