The onboarding process with Lobster was highly efficient for Salinen Austria. The system was set up on a dedicated server with browser-based access, eliminating the need for individual installations. Key interfaces were quickly integrated. This rapid implementation, often within 2 days, allowed Salinen Austria to swiftly benefit from enhanced process automation and integration
Step 2
Salinen Austria fully embraces Lobster’s DIY approach, based on a comprehensive service package, including an initial workshop, the Lobster Academy, consulting services, and Go-Live support. Once the system was live, the team were equipped to independently customise and manage their tech, eliminating the need for ongoing reliance on Lobster as a service provider.
Lobster is integrated into Salinen Austria’s system through separate test and live environments, securely connected via firewalls. The DMZ serves as the interface for external communication, while internal systems, running on Linux/Debian, handle process automation and data integration using Lobster. Both environments utilise PostgreSQL databases to manage schemas for testing and production seamlessly.
