Step 1
Schleich’s onboarding with Lobster was rapid, using a fully managed SaaS/PaaS setup. Lobster handled hosting, integration, and configuration, enabling the first systems (ERP & SaaS) to go live quickly. Large volumes of product and inspection data were transferred within 24 hours, delivering immediate value.
Step 2
Schleich received focused admin training to understand and navigate the platform while Lobster experts continued to manage the technical integrations. This gave teams confidence in their data flows and allowed users to focus on business outcomes rather than system maintenance.
Schleich uses Lobster Data Platform as a central integration hub connecting SAP and multiple downstream systems. SAP acts as a primary source, with Lobster enabling the distribution of structured datasets to various receiving applications through scalable, reusable integrations. The platform handles data consolidation, transformation, and automated transfer of large volumes of product, image, and quality-related data. Today, the setup supports around 15–16 connected systems and over 100 integrations, operating reliably in a fully managed Lobster environment.
