The API Manager brings REST API capabilities into a unified interface – but how do you actually use it? In this session, Niklas will walk through how to set up private structures, configure authorisation and association, and apply API policies like request limits. He’ll show how to call profiles through the API Manager and interact directly with Orchestration entities. You’ll also learn when the API Manager makes more sense than traditional profiles – and when it doesn’t.

Note: This session focuses on REST API capabilities. MCP Server is part of the API Manager but won’t be covered in this session.

What you’ll take away: A practical understanding of how to use the new API Manager for REST APIs and when it’s the right tool for the job.
