News: At the top of the view, News published by Lobster is listed as a list of messages in chronological order, with the most recent message at the top of the list.

• The list shows the title of each message (top left) and the time of its publication (top right).
  
  

• Clicking on Open or in the display area of a message opens it in a dialogue so that the actual content can be read.
  
  

• The Only show unread option controls whether messages marked as read are hidden (ON) or not (OFF). The relevant Check box (bottom right of each message) must be ticked by the user for the message to be considered ‘read’. Opening a message does not set this checkbox.

Status information: Status information on the system (licence/installation ID, version, system type and statistics on the use of the licensed configurations) is displayed below the news list.

Send Request: Clicking on Send request to Lobster opens an input form that can be used to send requests (e.g. suggestions for improvement) to product management for the Lobster Data Platform.
