Bridge Database Connection
The platform can connect to a database through the tunnel on the bridge system.
Configure a database connection
To add a database connection, the bridge needs to be online and connected to the platform.
On the platform navigate to “Configuration - Databases/Connectors”. Add a new entry and choose “Create DB Connection on Lobster Bridge”. Choose the bridge and enter the database parameter for your local database on the bridge system. On the bridge the new database connection is shown in "Administration → Database Connections".
To use a database connection, the same jdbc driver has to be installed on both systems, platform and bridge. See Datenbankanbindung - Tutorial
For the bridge copy the jdbc driver to the folder <BRIDGE_INSTALLATION_FOLDER>/extlib and restart the bridge.
