Loading areas

A loading area is assigned to a loading area group.

A loading area can refer to a calendar entry. This calendar is used when generating time slots. Time slots are created only for those days not defined as holidays.

The screenshot shows the dialogue box for loading areas.

(1) New, Delete, Cancel, Copy, Save: Loading areas can be saved or copied and saved in the data bank.

(2) The data of loading areas can be entered here. The fields Loading Area Name and Loading Area Group are obligatory.

All other fields are optional.

(3) Setup Time: The value entered here will be used as a minimum when calculating the needed time for a time slot book entry, independent of other calculations.

(4) List of defined loading areas.

(5) Loading area capacities.

Limits for package types can be set via loading area Capacities.

(1) Valid: Indicates the time slot for which this definition of a loading area capacity is valid.

(2) Package Type: Indicates for which package type this definition of a loading area capacity is valid.

(3) Maximum Capacity: Displays the maximum capacity for packages of the package type selected in (2). Should the number of packages in this loading area be exceeded by a booking, then this booking will be denied.
