A simple example of a triggering event is the 'click' on a button by the user. Such triggers can then in turn – depending on return values from a certain behaviour – trigger actions in the form, for example transferring data to a profile or setting elements in the form active/inactive or visible/invisible.

The selection of triggering events is fixed, custom triggers cannot be defined. However, it is possible to call up Behaviours directly (see Verhalten ausführen action) or to use user-defined flags (see Working with flags) as triggering events.


The following triggering events are available for selection depending on the element type:
