The Orchestration describes the general operation of Lobster Data Platform / Orchestration and documents details on functionalities, objects and recommended working methods. It is primarily designed as a reference book. The contents can usually also be called directly as context help from the user interface. However, the structure and content are not explicitly aimed at getting to know the concepts and various possibilities of Lobster Data Platform / Orchestration as a new user through systematic 'self-study'.

NOTE◄ Some examples in the Orchestration refer to contents from the Tutorial, because it is assumed that the example scenario presented there is familiar to a user working as a 'configurator'.

The Tutorial is aimed – contrary to the Orchestration – directly at users without previous knowledge and training, who want to undertake the first steps for the configuration of a solution in Lobster Data Platform / Orchestration as quickly as possible. The configuration for a fictitious example scenario are explained in detail 'from zero' and step by step. Firstly, this should demonstrate basic procedures and mechanisms for creating configurations in Lobster Data Platform / Orchestration. And secondly, this 'guided tour' should give you a first impression of the realization of specific requirements with Lobster Data Platform / Orchestration.

IMPORTANT◄ 'End users', i.e. the operational users of an implementation created with Lobster Data Platform / Orchestration, are not necessarily intended as the target group for this documentation. Instructions and information concerning the specific operation of a solution created with the Lobster Data Platform / Orchestration must be created additionally and individually as required. However, Lobster Data Platform / Orchestration can integrate corresponding content, e.g. as context-specific Online help. Whether end users should also have access to the modules of this standard documentation can be controlled by the system administrator via role authorization.
