Numeric types
Enumeration for numerical values. See Geschäftsobjekte und Attribute.
The specific Units parameter can refer to multiple dynamic enumerations for Units to link to the numeric type.
When a numeric attribute of a certain numeric type is added in Input forms, the elements of all enumerations assigned as Units appear as choices in the automatically provided Combobox for 'Unit'.
Examples:
The preset numeric type 'Quantity' refers to enumerations Quantity unit, Gewicht- & Masseneinheiten and Volume unit, to support a wide range of applications.
The preset numeric type 'Costs' refers exclusively to Währung, which should cover all useful options for this numeric type.
Which elements of the globally assigned enumerations of units are effectively presented to a user in a specific context, may depend on restrictions defined by Dynamische Aufzählungsfilter or individual settings per element in a form.
►NOTE◄ If a numeric type does not specify any 'Units', the unit combobox for a related numeric attribute does not show any options. However, if a data objects contains an indication of unit already it will appear in the field and can only be kept or deleted.
