Tracking status

The image shows the dialog for defining tracking statuses for business objects.

(1) New, Delete, Cancel, Copy, Save: Tracking statuses can be saved in the data bank, or be copied and deleted.

(2) List: A database query with the specified filters and sorting criteria is executed and the result is displayed in the list. Resets all filters and sorting criteria and executes the search again.

(3) Owner: The owner of the tracking status.

(4) Mode, Status, Reason: A tracking status can be distinguished by Mode, Status and Reason. Mode and Status are required fields.

(5) Icon URI: Icons for the respective tracking status can be displayed in overviews. The Icon URI must be a URL that is accessible in the client. (For details on creating icon sets, see Working with image resources (Icons))

(6) Color: The background color to be displayed in overviews for tracking status. The text color is either white or black depending on the brightness of the background color.

(7) List: List of defined tracking statuses.

The name (the value displayed in overviews) of the tracking status is configured in the localization. The name of the resource bundle is trackingStatus, the resource name is composed of mode, status and reason ({Modus}|{Status}|{Grund}).
