Routing table

Routing tables are used to group Routingtabelleneinträge.

When determining a route (more precisely: a routing name) from routing table entries, the routing table assigned to the association criterion with the highest priority is used (best match, see also Association criteria).

The screenshot shows the entry form for routing tables.

(1) New, Delete, Cancel, Copy, Save: Managing the routing tables in the list below.

NOTE◄ The Copy action only copies the routing table header record and not all routing table entries.

(2) Owner: The owner of the routing table.

(3) Details: A routing table needs a name and can be given a description. The Valid range can be used to define or restrict the routing table's usage period.

NOTE◄ The date values for the validity period are interpreted with the time 00:00 hours, so that the routing table with the example data on 31.12.2018 would no longer be used.

(5) Association: Using association criteria, routing tables can be assigned for use (see also Association criteria).

(6) Routing table entries: Here you can create, edit or change the entries of the selected routing table in the list. See also Routing table entry
