Administration/Master Data/Dangerous Goods |
The menu item 'Dangerous goods' opens a combined view for managing dangerous goods master data in data objects of the 'Dangerous goods entry' (DangerousGoodsEntry) class.
By default, the ribbon of this view shows the generic set of buttons for managing Details (New, Delete, Cancel, Copy, Save) in the category 'Common' and the entire List (Clear, Search).
In main category 'Administration' the Owner of a dangerous goods entry is indicated and may be updated, permissions permitting. For new or copied entries a default value of 0 is indicated as an owner ID combined with 'Own company' in the label. Unless another owner is selected before the entry is saved, the Company of session is used as default owner of the entry upon creation. Own dangerous goods entries can be shared with other companies by Company authorizations.
The list area at the bottom of the view lists all dangerous goods entries with reading permission for the current session, unless specified otherwise by configuration (see Datengrid-Einstellungsübersicht).
The details area between ribbon and list area features the following content by default:
required input fields to identify the dangerous good (UN no. and Serial number)
A Repeatable element with input fields (Locale, Name, Specification, Prefix) for a dangerous goods description in different languages
An Optional elements covering dangerous goods details for various contexts (ADN, ADR, ICAO, IMDG, RID; details see below)
The layout of the details area may be customized by Form designer via menu item 'Forms dangerous goods entry'.
►NOTE◄
The data model for dangerous goods details is predefined statically. Unlike business objects, data objects of type 'Dangerous goods entry' cannot be customized by referring to typed attributes.
A combination of UN no. and Serial number suffices as a reference to a dangerous goods entry when importing business objects with dangerous goods attributes.
