Attribute (Event actions)
The event actions listed below are selected for entities of any type that generally qualify as 'attribute owners' (see below):
The category Attribute (Event actions) does not summarize all event actions that are required for handling attributes and their values. Instead, for this purpose, the category Logic (Event actions) should be referred to, which contains event actions for general basic operations (e.g. Set value, Modify list) that can be applied to attributes, among other things. However, for the predefined types of business transaction objects (Allgemeines Geschäftsobjekt (Ereignisaktionen), Orders (Event actions), Manifests (Event actions), Shipments (Event actions)), the categories provide important specific event actions for dealing with attributes that may or may not be implemented individually for each business transaction object type (e.g. Sum loading aid (Shipment), Sum loading aid (Manifest), etc.).
Therefore, the Attribute (Event actions) category contains only the event actions that are exclusively relevant for 'attribute owners' but are not implemented individually for each business transaction object type.
►IMPORTANT◄ As far as each event action in this category refers to a specific attribute type (or subtype), they can only be used in a reasonable way in the context of an entity type that also supports corresponding attributes. The decisive factor is the type of specific reference object with which the event action is executed. If the reference object does not support the respective attribute type – and hence indirectly the event action – no error occurs at runtime. Nothing will happen.
The following entities in Lobster Data Platform / Orchestration are considered 'attribute owners':
