Info
To keep track of a larger number of profiles, you can add multiple editable texts ("Description of profile", "Tags", "Changes", "Note text") to each profile. With this and the internal backup, you have your own version management for profiles.
In addition, several report options are available.
Settings
(1) Image: You can upload an image for this entry. This image is shown in the overview when the tile view is selected.
(2) Description of profile: A brief description of what the profile does is often useful for a later understanding or that of other coworkers.
(3) Documentation URL: You can specify any URL that contains a documentation of this profile, which can be called via the icon on the right. You can also insert system constants into the URL there.
(4) Tags: The tags are taken into account when searching for profiles.
(5) Changes: If a profile is saved for the first time or a backup of the profile is created, a change notes can be specified, which can then be found here. Note: The description of the change can be forced with the option "<Set name="remarkForSaveRequired">true</Set>" in configuration file ./etc/startup.xml. Note: The date format can be set in configuration file ./etc/admin/datawizard/default.properties with the property "profile.history.dateformat", e.g. " profile.history.dateformat=yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss". This will then only affect new entries.
(6) Note text: If you export a profile and then import it again, this text will appear in a message window. When migrating from a test system to a live system, for example, this may be very useful to point out what should be considered.
(7) History: A history of which user made changes to the profile at what time.
(8) Documentation mapping: Opens another tab containing the contents of the "Changes" and "History" fields and the mapping logic of the profile.
