Settings

(1) Channel selection: Here you have to select a channel of type "Fax".

(2) Partner fax number: If a channel is selected, the field can remain empty. Otherwise, the value overwrites the fax number coming from the channel.

(3) Via DMZ: In a DMZ environment, the fax can also be sent via the DMZ server. If no DMZ is configured, this checkbox will not be displayed.

(4) Render text: Only if text or a PDF must be rendered into the fax format SFF. Must not be set if the data is already in SFF format.

(5) Skip sending: If this checkbox is set, the fax will not be sent.

(6) File (Backup): If a file name or path is specified, the data is also saved as a file.

(7) Optional configuration: The fax generation is configured by format parameters. Here the path to a properties file is expected in which these parameters can be found. If no explicit value is specified for properties (parameters), then the following default values are used. Via the icon on the right, you can search/create/change a file in the folder ./conf.

#Sample configuration for text to fax rendering
font.name=Courier
font.size=12
font.tabwidth=8
margin.left=100
margin.right=100
margin.top=100
margin.bottom=100
#Line offset is used for the distance between each line
#Default is calculated from font
#line.offset=14

(8) Cover page: You can specify a text for a fax cover sheet. Variable values in the syntax {-@VARIABLE@-} are resolved. The placeholder {-@DATE@-} can be used to insert the date.

(9) Mark whole job as failed if this response fails: Normally a job is not necessarily considered to be erroneous if a single Response fails (see section Status of Response - Error Behaviour). But it can be enforced with this option here.

(10) Additional text on error: Here you can specify an additional log text for the error case.
