Context menu (target structure)
Option |
Description |
Create new → New field Multiple new fields New node Multiple new nodes New database node New node (from WS-SOAP request) |
New fields, nodes and database nodes can be created here. If you create a new database node, you can select the alias of a connected database and then choose a table or stored procedure from that database. The structure of the database table will then be represented in the target structure node. See also section Import of the Structure via Database Nodes. For more information on the web service node, see the section Calling SOAP web service with profile in Response. |
Snippets → Create snippet from node |
A node can be saved as a snippet (for the current user, the client or all users). They can be managed via the target structure menu. |
Paste snippet |
Inserts a previously saved snippet. |
Cut/Copy/Paste Paste including links |
Refers either to the entire structure or to selected fields/nodes (without links, with paths). Pastes with links (mapped fields). |
Delete |
Refers to marked fields/nodes. |
Open/Close direct sub nodes |
Self-explanatory. |
Add profile as sub node in source structure Add profile as sub node |
See sections Profile in source structure (sub profile) and Profile in target structure (sub profile). |
Field overview |
The field overview provides a simple overview of the data types and lengths, etc. of all fields of a node. Note: Can be exported as a CSV file. |
Find path |
You can find the node in the source structure that is connected via path to the target structure node on which you open the context menu. |
Find/Remove link |
Finds the source structure field this field is mapped (linked) to. You can also delete the mapping. See also section Search and find. |
Create table |
If you have activated phase 4, you can create a node that represents an HSQL table (other databases can be used as well). |
Export node as XSD |
Enables you to export any node (with subnodes and fields) as an XSD schema file. This XSD file can then, for example, be used to automatically generate a structure from it. |
Aggregate functions |
See section Special nodes for aggregate maps in source structure. |
