Checking outgoing messages
To be able to send a message, it must first be checked with button "Check message" (Outbound/Main settings/Message). In this step, the ENGDAT module points to various possible input errors depending on the version and conformance class and generates the external reference number. If all input errors have been corrected, the message can either be sent immediately or at the configured cron times.
Important note: From this point on, the message cannot be changed anymore!
When sending, three attempts with a wait time of 30 seconds are made before the transmission aborts with an error. In this case, an email is sent to the email recipient set up in the template. If nothing is defined in the template, the error email address is taken from site Clients. If nothing is set up there either, the error email settings in configuration file ./etc/startup.xml are used. The status will be adjusted accordingly.
