File compound

You can set how, when, and in which order, the content of the file pool of the content inspector is triggered. Note: See also section Content Inspection.

At processing time, this set of files is called a file compound. Note: See also system variable VAR_SYS_LASTINBULK.

Settings

(1) Max. number of files: The maximum number of files that can be put into the Content Inspector's file pool before the Content Inspector starts processing.

(2) Max. waiting time: The maximum waiting time in minutes before the Content Inspector begins processing the files in the file pool (4), or simply changes to state Overdue. The waiting time starts when the first file is received and is reset each time a file is received, unless (3) is set.

(3) Do not reset wait time for each file: See (2).

(4) Proceed if time out is reached: You can set whether the Content Inspector should change its status to Overdue if the maximum waiting time is exceeded, or whether the processing is to be started.

(5) Sort by: The files can be sorted for processing by file name or timestamp in descending or ascending order. If option As received is selected, the files are processed in the order they were sent to the Content Inspector Manager. Attention: When sorting by time stamp, accuracy is in the minute range for Windows systems, and in seconds for Unix/Linux systems.

(6) Existing files: This area shows the file pool of the Content Inspector. The contained files can be downloaded, edited and deleted via the context menu.
