Detection (rule)

What happens in the detection?

Checking file content

After the virtual file type and the file name (via the file pattern) have been successfully checked in the Settings (rule) area, the content of the file must meet the conditions set here.

Determining receiving partner

Furthermore, the receiving partner either must be specified (Image/Raw) or read from the file (all other data types). The receiving partner can be accessed (after the detection) with variable @RECEIVER@ (in this notation).

Determining sending partner

The sending partner can also be read out. Although data type Image/Raw always uses the actual sending partner. The sending partner can be accessed (after the detection) with variable @SENDER@ (in this notation). Before the detection, the variable contains the actual sending partner.

Splitting received file

The received file can also be split into partial files (works differently depending on the data type and is described there). Each split file is then treated individually in the further course.
