Settings

(1) Channel settings: Here you can select an SMB channel .

(2) Directory: The directory in which you want to write.

(3) Directory must exist: If this checkbox is set, the system checks if the destination directory exists before writing the file. If it does not exist, an error occurs. This checkbox should be used especially if the destination directory is a mounted directory. Note: Under Windows, access to external shares is possible using the UNC syntax: //<server name>/<directory name>. If an SMB channel is selected (1), you can use the placeholder <SMBHOST>. It will be replaced at runtime with the value of field Server in the SMB channel (without smb://)

(4) Overwrite existing files: Self-explanatory.

(5) Use meta data: If this checkbox is set, the directory and the option Target directory must exist are taken over from the Response "File" (if no archiving is set there) into the ASM entry. If the checkbox is not set, the two settings of the ASM entry apply.

(6) SMB data: When accessing external shares, you can specify an explicit SMB login or use a channel (1).
