Transmission

There are several ways to send files to the Asynchronous Sending Module (an ASM entry). See section Asynchronous Sending Module (ASM). In some cases, additional metadata is transferred (directory, file name, control file for FTP, ...). If there is no metadata for a file, default values for the transfer can be defined in the miscellaneous settings for the respective transmission type. These default values are only used if no metadata is available.
