Here you can specify partners to be transferred to the target system. Channels of a partner are also transferred. Note: See also section Guidelines for Creating Profiles in the Test System for Transporting to the Productive System. Note: Changes made in the meantime are not updated in the list. You can force an update to the latest versions using the context menu (Refresh entries).

Settings

(1) Window left: Select a partner here.

(2) Include own certificates: If this checkbox is set, local certificates of the partners are transferred as well.

(3) Overwrite partners/channels: If the source and target partner have the same name, the existing partner on the target system is overwritten if (3) is set to Yes. However, this only works if the target partner has the same ID, e.g. has already been transferred once with the Transport Manager, otherwise an error will occur. Note: If you have decided to use the Transport Manager to maintain your partners, we therefore recommend that you do not create or import any partners manually on the target system in order to avoid this error.

Existing channels of the target partner that are not overwritten are not deleted. So you get the union of the channels. Alternatively, you can select only certain channels for transmission in (4) if Only specified is set in (3).

(4) Window in the middle: Here you can select channels to be transferred . See also (3).

(5) Add job: Click here to create the job.

(6) Execute transport jobs: Click here to execute the job. See also (7).

(7) Window in the middle: Alternatively to (6), a schedule can be created via the context menu ("Create scheduled task for this list").
