(1) Role(s) for DataCockpit/Portal: A role can be selected via the key symbol. If a name is manually entered into the field, a new role is saved and can be selected next time. These roles only apply to DataCockpit and Forms and are independent of the roles for users of Lobster Integration. You can use the role to control, for example, which jobs are displayed to a DataCockpit user. See function set webmonitor role() for details. Note: You can also specify roles for DataCockpit users in a general form, for example, %somevalue. This DataCockpit user would now see a job to which you have assigned the role xxxsomevalue (with function set webmonitor role(a,b)) and also a job to which you have given the role yyysomevalue. However, you have to set the system property -Dhub.webmon.supportLikeInRole=true for this. However, this only works if a MySQL database is used for logging (it does not work with MongoDB).
(2) Power user: A power user can see all the profiles of all clients and perform all actions. This permission should be given very seldom. Important note: Users for Lobster Integration are in themselves independent of users for DataCockpit. However, if you create a DataCockpit user, you are logged in with a Lobster Integration user. The checkbox (2) is only active (when creating or editing) if the Lobster Integration user with which you are currently logged in is an administrator or if he has all clients assigned.
(3) Allowed clients: You can either set the checkbox, which allows you seeing all profiles of all clients. Alternatively, you can select a specific client and either allow all profiles to be viewed (checkbox below) or select specific profiles in the list (5). Important note: Users for Lobster Integration are in themselves independent of users for DataCockpit. However, if you create a DataCockpit user, you are logged in with a Lobster Integration user. Here in (3), you can only select clients that are assigned to the Lobster Integration user with which you are currently logged in.
(4) List below: The actions that the DataCockpit user is allowed to perform.
(5) Profile, Group: List of profiles that may be viewed (only displayed if not all profiles are allowed to be seen). The selection is made via the context menu.
