Non-assignable emails
Emails received via the Input Agent "SMTP" for which no active profile can be found are discarded and lost. For emails with multiple attachments, this applies to each individual attachment.
However, you can also specify that such emails will be moved to the "Unresolved" area instead. This is done in the configuration file ./etc/startup.xml (Default: false). Important note: This entry only applies to the Input Agent "SMTP", but not for the time-driven Input Agent "Mail". However, there, this can be set directly in the GUI.

If files are moved to the "Unresolved" area, an email notification can be sent. See section Warning for non-assignable input data.
Note: A detailed description of how to process emails can be found in the section Input Agents that are forced to receive all the data.
