MFT (Log CC)

The settings for the logging of the add-on module "MFT" (Managed File Transfer) allow defining which log messages are to be created.

Settings

(1) ControlSubscriber messages: Creates entries in the general messages of the Control Center (of the Lobster Integration in which the MFT server module runs) if an MFT client backs up its users or clients on the MFT server or restores them, see section Backup & File Types.

(2) Copy messages: Creates messages in the MFT server log when a file is copied to the MFT server using a rule (Actions). See File name and Deliver profile output there.

(3) File received messages: Creates messages in the MFT server log when files are received from an MFT client.

(4) FTP input: You can ignore this option in standard operation of the MFT server.

(5) Thread messages: Creates messages in the MFT server log when the MFT server receives a new request.

(6) Rule messages: Creates entries in the general messages of the Control Center (of the Lobster Integration in which the MFT server module runs) if the name or password of a client (of a MFT client) is incorrect, i.e. no corresponding counterpart could be found among the partners (MFT server). Note: See section MFT as introduction.

In addition, messages are also generated if no rule is found for an incoming file.

(7) File group messages: Creates messages in the MFT server log that indicate what virtual file type an incoming file has. Note: The value of the column "Description" is used.

(8) File treatment messages: Creates entries in the general messages of the Control Center (of the Lobster Integration in which the MFT server module runs) if, for example, the virtual file type of an incoming file is compared with the file type of a rule and no match is found.
