Profile logging

These settings allow you to define which log messages are to be stored for individual profiles. This allows defining a logging behaviour that differs from the "System logging".

(1) Show profiles with explicit logging only: If this checkbox is set, only profiles with individual logging settings (i.e. deviating from system logging) are displayed in (3).

(2) Search field top left: If a search term is entered here, only those profiles whose names contain the search term are displayed in (3).

(3) Tree left: Tree with groups and profiles, or a list of profiles when (1) and/or (2) are used.

(4) Select template: List on the right: A previously saved template for the settings can be loaded here. After deleting a template, it no longer appears in the selection list. The profile logging settings remain unaffected by deleting a template.

(5) The logging settings for phases 1-6. For details on setting options, see page "System logging".

(6) Delete logging for selected profile: Click here to reset the logging for the selected profile to the default settings. The rules of the system logging will then apply again.

Lifetime of changes

Some set options trigger another dialogue (trace messages of all phases, all options of phase 3, created SQL statements in phase 4). In this dialogue you can determine how long the settings are active. After this time, the original settings are restored. Please note that this only applies to the selected profile. In addition, the lifetime applies to all saved settings and not only to those that trigger the dialogue.

It should also be noted that the lifetime accumulates. Example: You make a change for 5 minutes. All saved settings are now valid for 5 minutes. After 3 minutes, you make another change for 5 minutes. All saved changes are now valid for a total of 10 minutes (since the first change). The original settings are restored 10 minutes after the first change.

You can deactivate the time limit with the system property "hub.datawizard.unlimited.traceLog=true".
