(1) Here you have to select a channel of type Fax.

(2) If a channel is selected, the field can remain empty. Otherwise, the value overwrites the fax number coming from the channel.

(3) In a DMZ environment, the fax can also be sent via the DMZ server.

(4) Only if text or a PDF must be rendered into the fax format SFF. Must not be set if the data is already in SFF format.

(5) If this checkbox is set, the fax will not be sent.

(6) If a file name or path is specified, the data is also saved as a file.

(7) The fax generation is configured by format parameters. Here the path to a properties file is expected in which these parameters can be found. If no explicit value is specified for properties (parameters), then the following default values are used. Via (8) you can search/create/change a file in the folder ./conf.

#Sample configuration for text to fax rendering
font.name=Courier
font.size=12
font.tabwidth=8
margin.left=100
margin.right=100
margin.top=100
margin.bottom=100
#Line offset is used for the distance between each line
#Default is calculated from font
#line.offset=14

(9) You can specify a text for a fax cover sheet. Variable values in the syntax {-@VARIABLE@-} are resolved. The placeholder {-@DATE@-} can be used to insert the date.
