Diagram
In the overview, you can use the context menu to create new designs (organized in groups, as you know from profiles). There are two approaches here.
You can either drag existing profiles, ASM entries or Content Inspection entries into the right area and automatically get a diagram with all connections.
Or you can create a completely new profile chain in the right area via the context menu.
Creating a Diagram Automatically
As already mentioned, you only need to drag a profile, for example, into the area on the right. Starting with this profile, a diagram of the complete profile chain (including ASM and Content Inspection entries) is automatically created for you. The following screenshot shows an example of the profile named Profile_1.
Note: If a profile is inactive or no longer valid, it will be displayed as Profile_2. If a profile used in the diagram can no longer be found, e.g. because it has been deleted in the meantime, it is displayed in red.
Note: Here is a legend of the symbols used in diagrams.
Variables in Response Routes
If one of the profiles (1) in the profile chain uses a variable (2) in a Response Route of type Message to specify the profile to be triggered (this can be the case especially for dispatcher profiles), this Response Route is represented as an endpoint in the diagram. See the symbol for @var__TARGET_PROFILE@ in the screenshot above.
Create a Diagram from Scratch Manually
As already mentioned, create a completely new profile chain in the right window via the context menu. So if you insert a new profile there and generate a Response Route in it, this profile will actually be created like this. The same applies to other components in the diagram. Important note: However, this will only be done when you save the diagram. Not before that!
