Designer

The function of the Data Flow Designer is either to automatically recreate existing profile chains that are available in Lobster_data. All profiles in the profile chain (and, if applicable, Content Inspection and ASM entries) and their connections are inserted in the diagram.

Alternatively, you can model profile chains manually. Connections made between profiles (and Content Inspection and ASM entries) are all entered automatically in the involved components after the diagram has been saved.

Later, in the Process View, the concrete sequence of the profile chain can be visualised on the basis of the jobs involved.

Before you can create a design (Data Flow entry), you must first create a group using the context menu (1). All designs must be assigned to a group.

Subsequently, you can use the context menu to create a Data Flow entry (design) in the new group. If groups or Data Flow entries already exist, they can be edited or deleted via the context menu. Attention: If the option Delete with references is selected, any profiles, ASM and Content Inspection entries contained in the design will also be deleted!

Note: If an element in a Data Flow entry cannot be found (e.g. a profile that has been deleted in the meantime), the entry is displayed in red.

A Data Flow Designer entry is configured in two areas.
