Data Flow
Complex conversion tasks are often met by chained profiles, where a source profile forwards data to a target profile by Message.
In certain scenarios, the source profile works as a dispatcher, where the name of several possible target profiles is determined dynamically (e.g. from the data in phase 3 of the source profile).
If the total number of profiles is large, it is difficult for the user/profile developer to keep an overview of the exact data flow. In these cases, the Data Flow module provides powerful support by visualising the flow of data in a graphical representation for existing profile chains and by allowing you to develop complex profile chains.
The module needs user right Administrator or Create profiles and Change all profiles.
There are three areas in the add-on module Data Flow.
Designer. Graphic design and editing of profile relations.
Simulator. Test of the data flow for specific partner channels.
Process View. Visualisation/analysis of terminated profile chains.
