Constants (Administration)

System-wide values and system constants can be edited in this area.

System-wide values are system-wide number ranges and system-wide permanent values.

The constants discussed here are so-called system constants, i.e. they are valid system-wide, i.e. in every profile. Alternatively, these system constants can also be created/maintained in the configuration file ./etc/admin/datawizard/constants.properties. Profile constants can be created directly in the profile and are only valid in this profile. See section Types of Constants.

(3) An optional description of the system constant.

(4) Using the context menu, you can edit or delete the selected entry or create a new entry. You can also export and import selected system constants as properties file.

(5) Here you can export and import constants. Note: Lobster_data also provides the Transport Manager , which allows an online transport of profiles without the intermediate step via files. However, the versions of both systems must be within the same major release, e.g. 4.0.0 and 4.1.0. Versions 3.5.4 and 4.0.0 would not work.
