(1) Either all partners can be displayed, or those that contain channels of the selected types.

Note: A partner is nothing more than a name and a set of channels. A partner is only used for grouping all channels of a partner. The partner name must be unique within Lobster_data.

(2) A selected partner can be edited via the context menu (right-click).

(3) Here the name of the selected partner can be modified and the partner can be set active. If the checkbox there is not set, the partner and all partner channels assigned to it are inactive regardless of their status (active or inactive), that is, they cannot be used for communication. Note: Here you can also find the ID of the partner.

(4) In a further dialogue all channels of the partner are displayed (a double-click on the partner has the same effect).

(5) A partner can be exported (with or without local certificates) and imported here (6). Note: Lobster_data also provides the Transport Manager , which allows an online transport of profiles without the intermediate step via files. However, the versions of both systems must be within the same major release, e.g. 4.0.0 and 4.1.0. Versions 3.5.4 and 4.0.0 would not work. Note: The values for additional IDs in the partner channels refer to the central additional IDs (see details there). If such a central additional ID is not defined in the target system, a corresponding additional ID cannot be created successfully in the channel (when manually exporting/importing a partner and its channels). You will then find an additional ID in the channel, but without a name. If you manually create a central additional ID with the same ID on the target system (not the same name!), the name in the additional ID of the channel will be updated respectively. Alternatively, to work around this problem, you can use the Transport Manager.
