Settings (Administration Web Monitor)
(1) The company name can be freely assigned. This is used for grouping (folder structure) in the user overview of the Web Monitor.
(2) If the field contains a value and the Web Monitor is connected to LDAP (entry <Set name="ldapAlias">MyAlias</Set> in configuration file ./etc/startup.xml), the password in (3) is compared to the LDAP password. The option 'Forgot password?' in the login dialogue will not be available in that case. If the field stays empty, the password in (3) is compared to the password stored for the user as if there was no LDAP connection.
(3) These buttons allow you to automatically generate a password.
(4) If this checkbox is set, the user cannot log in to the DMZ server. This setting has no effect if the use has the right Power User.
(5) You must enter an email address here, if the button Forgot password? should be active. In addition, configuration file ./etc/startup.xml has to contain the entry mailSenderForPassword and no LDAP-ID (2) must be specified.
(6) For each Web Monitor user, a separate Portal theme can be stored. If the field remains empty, the default theme is used. There already is a test theme neptune. You can create your own themes (for your Corporate Identity or CI). They have to be placed in ./webapps/root/portal/extjs. This requires training with Lobster and basic knowledge in CSS and JavaScript. If you are interested, please contact our support or sales staff.
(7) Has no effect if the login to the Portal was done via a token.
