Group	String Functions

Converts a non-ASCII text to ASCII as much as possible. The conversion can take place with different conversion modes.

Type	Conversion Type
convert	If known a non-ASCII character will be replaced by it's Unicode base character. If no base character is known, the character will be removed.
remove	Non-ASCII-characters are removed.

Description of Parameters

Parameter	Description
a	The text to be converted.
b	(optional) Conversion Type. Default: convert.
c	(optional) Limit until when no conversion should take place. Default: 128.
