Overview (CI)
Note: Active Content Inspectors are displayed in white, inactive ones in grey.
(1) A Content Inspector can be searched via the filter field or via the tree structure (the folders are the groups).
(2) The type of the Content Inspector. This value only has an informational character and no other function.
(3) The file pattern the Content Inspector reacts to. The file pattern is used as a simple preselection to determine if the Content Inspector is responsible for a file. See also section Content Inspection.
(4) This specifies to which instance the Content Inspector passes his files. Files can, for example, be forwarded to a profile, or even be sent by email. See also section Content Inspection.
(5) All File Inspectors of the Content Inspector are listed. For multiple entries, only the first File Inspector will be visible, but the others can be seen in a pop-up window when hovering over the Content Inspector.
(6) The validity period of the Content Inspector. A Content Inspector will only be used within the validity period and if it is active. See also Content Inspector.
Context Menus
Selected Group (Folder)
(1) A dialogue for creating a new Content Inspector.
(2) Create, modify, delete or move the group.
(3) An XML file is created that describes all Content Inspectors and their settings. Note: This XML file is not intended for an internal application in Lobster_data, but for the use in an external tool. You could, for example, use a text editor to search for a specific entry or compare the file with an older XML file to find changes.
Selected Content Inspector
(1) and (2) Create, view or edit Content Inspector in another dialogue, or duplicate, delete or export it as .obj file. The .obj file can be imported here. Note: Lobster_data also provides the Transport Manager , which allows an online transport of profiles without the intermediate step via files. However, the versions of both systems must be within the same major release, e.g. 4.0.0 and 4.1.0. Versions 3.5.4 and 4.0.0 would not work.
(3) A small window will open, showing the main settings of the Content Inspector.
