Available Database Aliases

Here database aliases can be configured. Attention: Changes are lost after a restart of the DatabaseServices.

(1) List of available database aliases. You can see the unused connections in the pool and the connections that have been opened by the DatabaseService for the respective alias.

(2) You can use the context menu to remove (after a restart of the DatabaseService, a deleted alias can reappear if it is defined in the XML file), view (Information provided by the JDBC driver) and add (but after a restart of the DatabaseService this alias is lost again) aliases and view the DB-Info. Rebuild closes all open connections to the target system of both the DatabaseService and the SapConnectionService and the pool is rebuilt, meaning that as many connections are created and placed in the pool as defined by minSize.
