Attributes for Nodes (source structure)

(1) Name of the node and optional description. See also section Naming Conventions for Nodes and Fields.

(2) The delimiter between the individual columns of a data record. Used for document types CSV, Excel and Database. The representation of nonprintable delimiters is supported.

(3) The minimum number of occurrences of the node in the source tree. See also section Settings (Mapping Test).

(4) The maximum number of occurrences of the node in the source tree. See also sections Settings(Mapping Test) and Icons in Mappings.

(5) An inactive node receives no data during the parsing. See also section Icons in Mappings.

(6) Only applicable for the document types CSV and Fixed-length. After entering this node, a new record is created. See also section Attributes for Fields (source structure).

(7) This attribute should no longer be used, it is only available for compatibility reasons and is no longer supported.

(8), (9) and (10) Only relevant for the add-on modules Portal and Forms and for web services (WSDL) .

(11) This settings is only relevant for document type XML and is described there.

(12) A field delimiter entered here is automatically removed from the source tree when reading fixed-length data records. The field delimiters can also be entered in hexadecimal notation (e.g. 0x3b for a semicolon ;).
