1. How is a Live Academy set up?
A Lobster Academy runs over three days (live) and takes place in our training rooms in Tutzing near Munich. We generally schedule our courses to run from Tuesday to Thursday. We’ll start at 10 am on the first day, with 9 am starts on the following days. Our experienced trainers will take you through the Lobster programme and are on hand to explain each exercise.
2. Is there a maximum number of course participants?
Our trainers teach in groups of six to seven. We’re more than happy to schedule a dedicated in-house Academy for your business, should you need to have a larger group accommodated.
3. Are there any other predefined – possibly shorter – training packages?
We’re happy to cater to our customers’ training preferences and can schedule workshops to suit individual needs. Shorter. More intense. More specific. Depending on what works for you. After discussing your specific requirements, we’ll send over a customised offer.
4. How is the Online Academy set up?
An Online Academy is hosted via Microsoft Teams in our own secure chat room. It runs part-time over the course of five days. Every participant should have a headset and their own separate monitor. This ensures that everyone can do each exercise themselves and be given individual feedback by the trainers.
5. How much does the course cost?
The fee for both the Online and the Live Academies is EUR 1,500 for the first participant. For every additional participants from the same business the price is EUR 750.
6. What’s included in that price?
A comprehensive training programme dedicated to all things Lobster_data or Lobster_pro. Training documents. First-class trainers. Additional opportunities to get to know each other face-to-face at the Live Academy. Meeting other Lobster users. Catering at lunchtime. And of course the wonderful ambience of our headquarters, just south of Munich.
7. Who is responsible for booking hotels?
Hotels are not included in the price and bookings should be made by each company individually. We’re more than happy to send over our local hotel recommendations.
8. What happens after the Academy?
Each participant will receive his or her own certificate upon successful completion of the Academy. This verifies that they are able to operate Lobster_data or Lobster_pro confidently and competently.
9. How many different Academies are there?
We run Foundation and Advanced courses for Lobster_data. And for Lobster_pro, you can choose between our Foundation course, Update course, Portal course and Deep Dive course. All course content can also be delivered in English, if required.
