Product data for worldwide online shops – John Deere uses Lobster_pim as the central back office
As Germany’s largest manufacturer of agricultural machinery, John Deere GmbH & Co. KG employs around 7,000 people at six locations in the Federal Republic. John Deere is a preferred device supplier and focuses on six main areas: US and Canada, Europe, Brazil, Russia, India and China.
Lobster_pim stores the enterprise-wide data on a single platform, which represents all articles and products as well as the languages used. She will take over the role of a central back office at John Deere, which will be integrated into the online shops. Employees from marketing, sales and support access the same current product data regardless of location. By planning the articles and products, the software also provides a standardized shop navigation structure for the B2C and B2B shops.
