Dr. Tobias Hegmanns is currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at thyssenkrupp Materials Germany, where he oversees warehouse and production operations, supply chain management and transport. A key focus of his role is driving the digital transformation of logistics processes and introducing data-driven processes.

With a strong academic background in SCM and logistics, Dr. Hegmanns previously served as Academic Director at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics in Dortmund, as well as Deputy Head of the Chair of Unternehmenslogistik at TU Dortmund.
